The PU wet process leather production line is the core manufacturing line for producing PU base materials (semi-finished leather). Using the water-based film-forming method, it creates a uniform porous structure within the PU layer. The finished PU base offers breathability close to that of natural leather and serves as the foundation for high-quality PU leather products.

Working Principle

In the PU wet process leather production line, a PU resin solution containing DMF is coated onto a substrate and then immersed in a water bath. Through the mutual diffusion and replacement of water and DMF, the PU resin gradually coagulates and solidifies. During this process, a fine and interconnected porous structure is formed inside the PU layer, resulting in a breathable and flexible PU base material.
